My mom sent me a redback for my birthday




Kind of debating what route to go with it. I could test it in my widebody 1x12 but I’m already super happy with the c90 in there

Considering giving my Madison 2x12/cat condo another chance at life and putting this in there and also grabbing the creamback out of my deluxe reverb and testing that combo out. I have that Mesa 2x12 diagonal on back order til who knows when, but maybe if I was digging that config I could just order another creamback and cancel the Mesa order and save some dough…

The Redback work s extremely well in 1x12s. It gives them a lot more punch and authority. It also works well on bigger cabs, of course. One of my favorite speakers, can't go wrong with it.

Got down to business as soon as I got home from work. Yanked the creamback out of my DR and put that and the redback into the Madison (much to my cats chagrin )

Fucking devastating and glorious sounds. I’ve just been chugging away on my badlander for the last hour. This sounds amazing. Soooooo much better than the t75s I don’t think I like those speakers lol

Honestly I’m thinking the Madison gets a new lease on life and I’m probably gonna cancel the Mesa 2x12 backorder for the time being

Now I just need to get another speaker to go back into the DR lol. The creamback sounded amazing in there, not sure if I should just grab another or try something else

And as far as a replacement for the DR, for my money the Weber 12F150 is one of the best options. 50 watt version, light dope. Sounds great clean, real good with dirt, efficient and loud.

Nice! I love Redbacks. They pair extremely well with V30s. I had 4 loaded in my Vader cab, and the low end was just insane haha. Kinda miss that lol. I do still have 4 RBs, so I could throw them all in my Mesa cab...hmmmmm lolol
