But I was messing around late last night with this Fortin Nameless X plugin. Man they really made something good with that plugin. The “X” version really did take it to another level.

So got me thinking just for fun, what it would sound like running Thru one of my amps power section. So obviously I turn off the speaker IRs. And if I was running just a simple guitar DI from my computer into my amp, I’d use a ReAmp box for the levels. But if I’m running basically the ampsim from the DAW into the FX loop of my amp would I still use the Reamp box? Or is the -10 output from the soundcard the right level??

I was gonna start there. And if not, try the Reamp box! Hah. Won’t be too hard. I seem to remember tho there is always a ground loop shot without he reamp box. Whatver. It’s just to see if this somehow comes across even half as good as it sounds thru the DAW and monitors. What’s maybe more surprising is I find it’s a great tone for leads. I really sound pretty good Thru it. Lol
