this is my strat with the 78' that i just cant put down, a left and right track of the red channel and a track of blue down the middle, my ibanez thermion 4x12 with v30s and a unidyne 57. i think im starting to understand the hype with these things

Amazing tones as always. Is that the SD 78 humbucker? Is it supposed to be an EVH thing?

i did do the c137 mod, when i get a minute ill do a blue clip too. the duncan 78 is i guess some sort of hotter paf EVH type thing, for most my amps its just hot enough to grind but stays clear when chugging, its just a little too weak for the blue channel unboosted though, but with the red channel which is pretty over the top gain wise its pretty nice.

Definitely, i was thinking I should do some comparison clips and see what’s up, i think it’s more a feel thing with the 6505+, it just seems a little slow or something in the response that just doesn’t match up with my playing.

Sounds crushing. 5153s are the real deal
