Fuck yeah! I've already heard you on Soldano amps back at your lockout in Baltimore. The SLO obviously being a step up should be right in your wheelhouse.

Do you think the 30 still is a step up from the Avenger? I know the 100w certainly is, but I haven't heard the 30 in person yet

I felt like the 30 was every bit as bad ass as the 100 watt. Had that same depth and sonic range that sets the SLO apart over the Avengers and such. I've noticed his gain structure is real similar across the lineup but the SLO has the 3D quality the others don't. Aside from sheer volume I felt the 30 played and sounded like a big boy amp. Keep in mind I run the depth real low on mine because I prefer that hot rodded Marshall style tone so I'm not running a lot of bass through my tone.

Read up on how he achieved the 30 watt mark. Everything is overrated and can handle 50+ watts, but he lowered the voltage or whatever the hell EVH did to his Plexis to get that gnarly tone.
