Went by a local-ish shop I hadn’t been to. Tried a guitar. Now I have GAS.

Yeah… I know most everyone else here is the same. Thst Jet was great though. Loved the neck on it and those pickups sounded excellent. I played that and the Penguin behind it through a Deluxe Reverb for a bit. Was kind of GASing for a 6118T Anniversary, but the Sparkle Jet is no joke. The Penguin was sweet too but I think I liked the Jet more.

I’ve wanted a sparkle jet Gretsch for so long. Honestly not sure why I haven’t bought one.
So yes, get that!

I’d love a regular silver sparkle too. Much less. And seeing the Depeche Mode tribute band got me GASing for the 6118T double anniversary. I think I’d be happy with any MIJ Gretsch to be honest.

I've always wanted a Gretsch Jet of some sort, but I can't justify the price for a real one.
I got LUCKY when I found my mint Setzer 6120SLLVO for $1500.

I’m seriously contemplating taking in my 2 Heritages to put up in trade to knock some $$$ off. They’re great guitars. But I have 3 Gibson Les Pauls I adore (Studio, Standard, RGasm). So those are kind of redundant. The one I like the most out of my Heritage guitars is my 157 because it’s as close to a LPC I’ll probably get.
