5153 EL34 50w clip

im starting to come around on this amp, at least with my main bitch Godin with a 81 which this is. the left is the blue channel with the gain maxed and the right is red with the gain about 9:30. cabs my 1960a and a Audix i5. i did the c137 mod. definitely wasnt expecting the tones that came out recorded but its cool

I like this. I'm seriously considering getting the EL34 again. I loved that amp except for the blue channel, but back then I was not aware of the C137 mod.
