NPD: They Even Knew My Settings

Good evening,

Sometimes, GC’s lack of communication within its own system can yield a positive result. I traded my Orange Butlers and Strymon El Cap V2 last week, and I got a Space Echo and a Wilson Ten Spot Mini wah. The Space Echo arrived, and it has been mounted on my board. The wah, unfortunately, was sold before they took it off of the website, so I was credited some money. I used said money for an HM-2W, which arrived today. I won’t be able to play with it tonight, because I have to go to work, but the previous owner kindly set the pedal to a favorite setting: Dimed to shit; that Sweeedish buzzsaw, not to be confused with the Japanese Buzzsaw, who is Yoshihiro Tajiri.

The same problem has affected another GC purchase - a Roland EV-5 expression pedal - and they gave me free Next Day Air for its replacement. It won’t come from Nashville by Friday - I white-knuckled a drive to Milwaukee, because of the fog and potentially icy roads, and that’s an hour and a half away from my house - but I only paid $20 out of pocket, so I’ll take the W.

Thank you.

Bummer that the wah didn't work out, I've been curious about that wah for a long time. They're hard to find locally to test it our
Are you planning to buy another?

HM2 is a classic. I think it was one of my first pedals back in the day.

Nah. I have a Wilson Freaker Mini, which is their take on the Tycobrahe Parapedal, of which I have owned a reproduction for several years.

The Ten Spot, as you probably know, is a clone of the Ibanez WH-10. I love the mini form factor, and I’d get the V2 of the Wilson I couldn’t find, but, since my next pedal acquisition will probably be another Tech 21 Liverpool Deluxe - I’m going to have a backup - I’m in no hurry to buy one.
