Super unscientific video, but I have both of these cabs here for the week before I move them around to my practice spots. I also have another 412 and a 212 that you can't see lol. But yeah, just fuckin around while no one is home.

Mark V into trad cab with V30s (these were the V30s from like 2023 that were in my OS cab). EVH into my OS cab with 2 V30s from 2003 (these were originally in my trad cab lolol) and 2 Redbacks. Confused yet? Welcome to my brain lolol.

Both are great but that Mark is just killing the Stealth in my opinion. I remember trying one and also loving extreme mode.

Both sound awesome, man. My Mark gas is growing. I'm thinking one of them, of some iteration, is gonna have to be a purchase.

I like the phat mids in the evh, but both sound great!

I need to circle back to my IICP syn module, I always like when other people play Marks but when I play it not so much lol

You should definitely get an epic fan and same regarding Mark gas....I had a JP2C and with a band it sounded amazing. Really wanting to order the Crab iii or whatever it is

what is that flat mic im seeing?? is that the oc818 or whatever?

It is quite a sick guitar. Probably my favorite that I own. Definitely gets most of my playing time.

I do have a giant box fan. I’ll keep this in mind for the next one LoLoL

That mic is the lewitt lct 240 pro. I have 2 of them and use them for drums OHs, vocals, acoustic, and cabs. Really good mics that are cheap and get a lot of use. I use them more than most of my other mics because they work well for a lot of things.

I like the mark better. I wonder how much of that is the cab.

I'm sure half of it is probably the cab. But the EVH does have a shit ton more low end through the same cab.
