LS2 HM2 blend trick [kartakou colossus/GGD contenders]

So I picked up GGD contenders last week and so far I'm digging it. Last night whilst taking a piss an idea for a riff came into my head and I quickly recorded it. This morning I redid it with the kartakou colossus and contenders and I thought, y'know, this needs some HM2 adding to it, but not much, just enough for a little sizzle and grind, thus an idea I've playing around with was put into action.

Here we have a left and right track straight into the colossus, then we have an additional track on each side using an HM2 into one of the loops of a Joyo LS2 clone (Orthros), with the other loop left empty. The orthros is set for parallel blending of the two loops. The HM2 is set to 25% level (50% is unity gain) and the clean passthru is a little over unity for a small boost. All knobs on the HM2 are dimed, except for dist, which is at zero. This lets me add just a bit of nasty to the base fiddy tone. The very end of the clip has just the straight colossus then hm2 parts isolated. I have ozone on the master bus, so they aren't mixed at this level but you get the idea of the tone it imparts. I've also tried this with an FZ2 and it sounds great for ultradoom riffs
Guitar is RGIB6 in A standard and an EMG81.
