I'm crazy impressed with this amp, especially from a price point of view.

I retubed it with JJ KT77's, and biased to 33mA, (factory was 24mA at 440 Plate Voltage).

I also put a Tungsol in V1 and a 12AU7 in the effects loop slot, and the loop is way quieter. Boosting with an MXR M-77, (Custom Badass Modified OD), and it hangs with amps I've paid double or more for. It's an impressive value, and sounds killer!

I'm interested in the Archon Classic, the clips sound great.

So far, I've only played the 100 mk1 and I think it's a great metal amp.

I had a 100 watt and thought it was pretty cool. I’ve heard the 50 mkii is a bit different but haven’t tried one myself.
