I've been writing a bit here and there, mostly with the band, which has been great. Tonight I came up with whatever this is lol.

EVH 5150 100S into my Driftwood reactive load. GGD Contender IRs. I'm using 2 instances of the Engl cab with a different mic on each. I think this cab sound closest to a Mesa OS in that pack. Drums are also GGD, one kit wonder metal. I have the Brutal kit, too, but this one always just seems to work better. I think I would need to tweak my tone to fit the brutal kit, and I just haven't done that yet. Guitar was my Bauer Strat with Seymour Duncan Blackened Black Winter.
Maybe some repetitive pieces that I might tweak, but this took me about an hour from idea to recording. I'm also not a drummer, so BLAST BEATS EVERYWHERE lolol

Really cool, man. Gotta say I got a bit sea-sick in the intro with the weird tempo push/pull thing going on, but I dig the riffin'. Definitely some killer idears in there.
Re: new song, maybe
Thanks! Yeah I get what you mean about the tempo shifts. It’s a little weird.

Yeah man, this is awesome!!
Re: new song, maybe
Sounds pretty sick… I really don’t think you’d need to add much and just keep it short. Except maybe some sort of end riff, or just a way to kinda add something at the end to finish it off

Thanks dudes!
Yeah, I think the whole band kinda agrees. Keep it short, not much change to arrangement, maybe add a little flavor here and there, and something to bring it home.
