Marshall has a 1959 modified and JCM 800 modified, god that 800 sounds great. They also did a low wattage JCM 900

The pricing is what is not sitting right with me. Will stick with the Pandora modded 2203X I have on the shelf.

Lmaoooo

A modded Marshall reissue for $3700

Or I can pick up a NEW Bogner Helios 100 for $500 less.

Wtf in the US is going to pick a shitty reissue over a handwired Bogner that’s almost the same format? CharvelDowns? Even that retard knows better.

Studio 900 could be interesting for the home recording setup. :hmm:

Bogners don't really tend to interest me much as I haven't spent a whole lot of time looking into what their various models do, but the Helios seems like a much better choice. The control face plate has a weird pattern I'm not keen on, but I probably wouldn't even spend more than 15-20 seconds at a time looking at it, so whatever. Isn't something I'd spend $400 more over.

I can see what you mean on their core line amps, but the Helios is a handwired modified Plexi style amp with much better components and construction.

Hell a Friedman BE100 is only $4k.

$3700 for a reissue Marshall is retarded.

The Helios also looks like the part, so it would fit with someone's Sourmash, Mojotone, etc. Marshall-esque cab as well.

Absolutely insane pricing. Plenty other amps I'd rather own for that money.
