The U571 sub that was captured, is on display at the Chicago Museum of Science & Industry.
You can actually walk through the inside of the sub, see the front and rear torpedo rooms, sleeping quarters and look through the periscope.
They give you headphones with a recording that is narrated by one of the Germans (who was captured) and with one of the Americans (who did the capturing).
The German describes what live was like on the sub and the American describes how the sub and the enigma machine was captured.
The German said they had no fresh water for bathing so, the sub stank like a pig pen after a week or two at sea.
I highly recommend a visit when in Chicago.

Flight risk -1/10: I was expecting trashy action but it failed to even do that. Made it 20 minutes before canning it. Dumb in a bad way.

Mope: 7/10 not what I expected
Dunno if anybody remembers the story of the porn dude that attacked a cast mate with a samurai sword then jumped/fell off a cliff to his death. I seem to recall the online chatter at the time essentially being, "Yeah man, that's the way to go out!" This is the story behind all that. The film is billed as a dark comedy, but damn, there's some brutal levels of reality to it.
Some funny one liners though. "Never, ever, put a three inch cock in an eight inch hot dog bun! Come on, man!"
But between the funny one liners is a story about a dude literally out of his mind with delusion. Of course that eventually boiled over. It's a well made film, but I dunno that I'd recommend it unless you're in the mood to be depressed about the state of humanity for a bit. Lots of yikes by the end of this one.

I tried watching it, the opening scene was pretty funny, then I got bored with it so I just fast forwarded to the nude scenes, which weren't even that great. It was after I watched it, that I also learned it was based on a real story, so I had to look it up as I didn't remember it when it happened. Pretty wild story for sure.

Yeah, there wasn't much in the way of eroticism in this one. Even the nude scenes were kinda

. That opening was pretty funny though.

Nosferatu (2024) 7/10 - I thought it was pretty decent, probably wouldn't watch a second time but I also didn't feel like shutting it off. I thought the acting was good with the exception of Bill Skarsgård, I think he was the weakest of them all.
The Crow (2024) 4/10 - Another remake starring Bill Skarsgård, this was bad. I appreciate that they didn't try to make it completely like the original. I thought the beginning was really slow and acting all around was just ok. The only scenes that were somewhat enjoyable was the big showdown. From what I can recall, I didn't care for the original either, I think its cult status had more to do with it having a great soundtrack and a lot of goth kids emulated Draven.
Also, I think Bill Skarsgård is overrated
