Oh damn! I think yours is the first I’ve seen. How’s the FAS treating you?

So far I am pretty happy with it.
The amp arrived on the last day of my vacation and I did not have too much time to explore yet. I do not know how it compares to the original thing, I never played the SLO, but the first chords immediately reminded me of the HDM 100 which is not a bad thing
I had ordered without tubes and the first days I was now busy rolling tubes. Currently I like the 5881 best - all 6L6 variants I own did not keep up with the PSVanes. It is little bit of gambling to run these tubes with 510V plate voltage, but so far at practice volumes it seems to run stable.
The big surprise, at least to me, was the clean channel which is decent and actually usable. Great amp, and it generally amplifies my desire to get again into a band playing originals.

While I really like my VHT D50 head and Mortatone EV SRO cab -and- all my other gear, I can't honestly vote for myself in any category!
There's a lot of really nice gear this year!!!

How is the effects loop? Is it like the originals (line level and before the tone stack) or is the newer version?

It has both, pre and post tone stack. The additional loop is tube buffered and works like you would expect a good loop to function, the original is IMO with no practical use. Quote Nik: „ The weird original loop is there, to preserve originality and tone. A new buffered loop is also added, as it might work better.“
