I completely agree. IMO... I think looking like a rock band is almost as important as sounding like a rock band, and these downsized halfstacks at least maintain that appearance.
For other styles, it doesn't matter much.
And yeah, I like the vertical 2x12s. My heads are too wide for them, but if I was using a smaller head, I'd definitely consider them. They look "right" and sound good.
