The Red Army rules. I love running it in to a slightly broken up amp for super fat Muff tones. The mids sit really well in the mix which is cool for a Muff as well. I've been obsessed with mine ever since Gene sold it to me.

Yeah the Red Army is a sweet pedal. If the Ram’s Head is the Wall, the Red Army is Pulse. Highly recommended to have one of each.

The suf astoria and suf red army are probably my favorite normal muffs.

I bought a SUF Violent Menace last year. I don’t think I’ve even plugged it in yet, lol.

Analog Mike has showed himself to be a giant... you know... never mind. I just don't use it anymore and prefer my Spaceman/SUF fuzz pedals.

Yeah I still have my red dot and white dot sunfaces (and the sunbender) - I like them but have totally moved away from germanium fuzz. As I put my pedal boards together I thought back to how much I actually used fuzz and it wasn't a lot.

I have 2 fuzz pedals in use now (SUF Rams Head) and for my stoner stuff I use an EQD Hizumitas.

Didn't you have a Cosmic Queen too or are you only talking muffs? Or did you off it? Asking in part because I've been super close to grabbing one.

I still have a Cosmic Queen! I think it’s a super cool pedal tbh. Supposedly based on the double muff? But kinda does its own thing. It’s a bit bright and the tone control affects a subtle frequency but otherwise it’s awesome. That’s one I won’t get rid of because it does sound awesome and is pretty unique. I also plan on buying one of his fuzzes with the octave up too. Something like the Demogorgon Deluxe or the Bucket of Blood or Silverfish if those get another release soon. Or if he does his Silverblood pedal again I may grab that (bucket of blood and silverfish in one enclosure).

I think it’s whatever muff he makes with a mid control. I will dig it out of the pile.
