there was a Crab Ubertone recently for sale on marketplace that i was considering. A Crab Cali, based on the Fortin Cali, is on marketplace for $500

Eagerly waiting for an amp to arrive to someone else.
Been looking at these for a while and hoping to pick one up before the prices go up. Never played one but all the videos sound great. Surely they aren't as good as the real thing but for the price?!? I bet they're great.

Should have some intel soon... Ukrainian postal tracking shows it as arriving somewhere in the US the day before yesterday. Wish I had the tracking for whatever actual carrier its ended up with lol

Arrived today!! Pretty awesome, happy so far especially for the price LoL
Extremely preliminary thoughts as Ive only gotten 45 min with it:
This is basically a hybridized C++/Mark III deal there’s a switch on the back to go between the two
Took a minute to get off the ground familiarizing the layout and switches but dialed it in like I would any Mark. Definitely sounds like a Mark! Compared to my III it seems a little darker or like there’s more low end that needs to be tamed. I will say that the GEQ is -extremely- sensitive (annd more powerful than on ann an anctual mark) and takes a bit more care in dialing in. As a test I turned it off and popped on my HX settings with the GEQ that I use on my III and then it was sounding REALLY similar. Went back to the on board on the Marcus and got more clinical dialing it in and it’s sounding pretty killer I think

The tubes this shipped with are a russian analog of 6L6/5881 (where tf were these even made in 2025? lol) called 6P3S. Definitely curious to experiment with some Mesa power tubes and some different preamp as well
Planned to do a shootout with all my other marks with a DI track from my bands recent EP recordings but my captor isn't playing nice with reamping so looking into that tomorrow.

Built quality is indeed very good. Looking forward to hearing the clips but I'm impressed with it already.
