I hear you. I found this one local for $2000 so I can relate lmaoninjaraf wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 3:53 pm I keep seeing awesome Suhr Moderns pop up on Reverb, but these prices are beyond what I can comfortably spend on a guitar. IME, diminishing returns start around the $2500 mark, and that's where my 2 most expensive guitars are. The $4k+ guitars I've owned haven't really been worth that much more than the $2500 ones. But damn I like the Suhr Moderns haha.
I was heming and hawing at their $3700 msrp when the exact spec I wanted popped up on FB marketplace for $2k and I could pick it up the next dayGuitarbilly wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 6:09 pm I generally agree with this but Suhr/Anderson/Tyler and a few others are exceptions to this. They're amazing guitars with the build and setup quality higher than even other high end guitars. I am not sure they would be the right guitars for you, that's personal, but their quality are a fair justification for their price...
Thanks man. I run the SLO in to the Two Notes Captor. Then line out of it in to my H90 where I run stereo out in to my UA Volt line inputs. For IRs I used a blend of 55hz Blackbacks and EVM12LsMike Oxhuge wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 8:43 pm The STP clip is epic! Sounds even a little better with more clarity than the original. What did you run for effects? Sounds super clear. Also now you just gotta learn to sing like Scott. Lol
