Lately, the g/f and I have been drinking the "Bump"... a Stephen Colbert cocktail recipe... it's really good!!!
It's basically, cherry lemonade with gin and seltzer.

My version, In a rocks glass...
1/2 shot of Heering Cherry Liquor
2 to 3 teaspoons of fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 shots of Hendrick's Gin (or Tito's vodka)
1/2 to 1 teaspoon agave syrup
Splash of seltzer water
Stir and top with ice

Colbert's recipe is for a tall, Collins glass...
1 ounce Heering cherry liqueur
1 1/2 ounces "good ol' Republican gin"
1/4 ounce lemon juice ("we gotta keep away the scurvy")
Splash of soda water ("for summer cooling")
Procedure
To a tall iced-tea glass filled three-quarters full of ice, add the ingredients in the order above. Stir and serve with a heavy dose of pomposity.

Orange Juice
Super ripe bananas
Lime
Almond extract (or Orgeat Syrup)
Splash of Ginger Ale
Mix in a blender - you should be able to taste each ingredient equally
Add ice and rum to taste

I've been drinking straight tequila lately, recently picked up a bottle of Lalo blanco. Made with only 3 ingredients - well water, blue agave and yeast, it's got a little bit of heat to it to let you know you're sipping tequila but other than that, it's pretty smooth.
I typically go for reposado or anejo tequilas but was wanting to get another blanco since I was tired of my other tequilas and I had just finished off a bottle of blanco cabo.
Should also be good mixed, I'll have to grab some grapefruit juice as that's become my go to for mixing with tequila.
