Re: Cheap amp that runs 6L6's
My AT-100 was my first tube amp. It wasn’t awful. Heck I wouldn’t mind having one now to mess with. I had a Blue Voodoo shortly thereafter and the AT just crushed it. I had both for a little while then got my Single Rectifier Solo 50. Didn’t look back after that.

Oh yeah, I had a BV shortly before I got the AT100. The AT100 did indeed crush the BV. Badlygreatmutah wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 7:36 pm My AT-100 was my first tube amp. It wasn’t awful. I would opt for a halfstack, I just don't have the room for anymore then the 2 Marshall clone halfstacks I already have.FAKA! wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 12:23 amExacta'mundo!Guitarbilly wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2024 1:12 am combo?? what are we? TGP? Head and 4x12 please. Thanks.

It has arrived. Unfortunately I won't have time to mess with it until tomorrow. Clips coming.

Unpacked it this morning, and plugged straight in.
Sounds pretty killer. Cleans are good, reverb is O.K.
The gain channel gets dirty enough to not need a pedal.
The Class A to AB knob is very subtle, as is the loose/tight resonance switch.
Nice little practice amp.
