Sounds cool. Definitely hear some Marshall’y vibe in there.

also I assume this is still live drums. You've really got them dialed in pretty nice! I know its not super busy of a beat.. Since most of the music I recorded with live drums was faster and there is a little more difficulty getting everything to cut and sit right ALL the time.. But I can still hear the depth and overall balance you've got on the drums.. I technically have the room to set up and have my kit mic'd and ready to go! But I would need to put it in the next room and when it came to recording then, id need someone running the DAW.. I should hire a personal assistant! hahah

this is wonderful to hear, thank you. im certainly no drummer, im too lazy to play tom fills and my double bass is awful, and at 42 now i just dont have the time or energy to really practice, but i can rock the basic beats pretty good. this one i did things different, i grouped the snare and kick and compressed and put reverb on them together, and left my overheads and room totally unprocessed. i have some weird hang up that makes no sense about trying to keep my recordings totally live one take with no samples or automation or whatever, which is probably keeping me from getting to that "pro" level but whatever. heres the track isolated

Dude that clip rips. Makes a good case for the current EVH 5150 IIIs. I did like the EL34 50 I played. Might have to track one down to try.
Also the riff is giving me some Exodus breakdown vibes.
