An Echoplex delay in front would be awesome as well.

That's true. I need to get one of those, I don't have any analog delays here at the moment.

So a GCB95F, Echoplex, Phase 90, and an MXR Flanger, then hit the go button and you're off to the races. Oh, and some Greenbacks or Heritage speakers.

WOW. That sounds phenomenal

I think your avenger tone is still my favorite but this one is a very close second. I also feel like the unboosted tone sounds much better

And volume at 7?? how are you not deaf

 I was cutting -12db with the Hot Plate. Still loud though. Definitely large stage volume still. Without the attenuator it's just insanity.

Sounds great! I have been playing my Synergy Plexi more and more recently. It just has that thing.

I've been thinking about getting the Synergy preamp for my rack again but the entry price is steep. Once you get going it's easy to buy modules though..

I was gonna say, you're pretty damn close, distance-wise, to a 100-watt amp that sounds like that. But then again, I have this memory where I was at your place in Reseda, and you had something cranked inside a room, and I had to walk out.
