Thanks man...they work great...they drop in without motification and they look vintage from the front, which is important to me.

great to hear.... I love the vintage look too, that's why I was looking at the same set, I was curious if they worked better than the stock tuners... I find the stock Gibsons to be a little stiff and almost fussy to tune with... you really need to make small adjustments and with them being kinda stiff that's not easy....cliffenstein wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 1:29 pmThanks man...they work great...they drop in without motification and they look vintage from the front, which is important to me.
I'll definitely pick up a set to drop in soon, where'd you get yours? the only place I've found them is on Reverb
I can't remember what my signature was..... I'm sure it was something interesting.....

Re: NGD - First New Gibson
I get these from Guitar Hey...they are a great company that ships quickly. They have them in standard white buttons, but the ivory ones looks the most vintage correct. They are made for vintage holes though, so you'll need the conversion bushings (Guitar Hey has those too) if you have modern size tuner holes. The white buttons are too white (had them before which is how I know). I've got the ivory buttons now on this guitar and also my TV Model DC. I think these work WAY better than the stock tuners. The stock ones on this guitar were kinda loosy goosy honestly. No way was I gonna keep those!

I love these Gotoh tuners. I have a set on my3 Pickup LP Classic. Mine is the self locking model but it's basically the same tuner. I installed them 11 years ago and they still work perfectly.

I want one so badly. It's the perfect P90 guitar. Epic score. Congrats.
