Yeah that would be cool, although the Gibson logo looks good. The truss rod cover gives it away though, so having the Edwards logo would fit the guitar better.
Right. And I’m torn between using the Gibson logo and script being perfectly fine as it is clearly a vintage Gibson design (along with it having a Gibson pickup) and the fact that it wasn’t Gibson who actually made & sold it.

Also, I have since found out that these early Edwards double cut Junior LT (lacquer taste) guitars are the ones to get as they are the lightest in weight and have the greatest unplugged resonance.

This particular guitar feels like a Gibson custom shop guitar in the hands…it’s that good! The finish is not the modern day nitro with all the plasticizing agents in it either…it’s the old school recipe.

One thing I wanna add, in case anyone is lucky enough to come upon one of these beauties...

Truss rod is not the standard import truss rod that uses an allen wrench. It's the same exact truss rod that goes in Gibson guitars and you'll need the proper Gibson truss rod tool to adjust it.

Awesome guitar and great story. I wish Gibson would make a single pickup TV yellow DC Jr that wasn't custom shop. And of course without that ugly Tribute pickguard.
