Marshall issued a revised board in late 2001 and covered the repair for the original owners under warranty. But many amps did not fail way past the warranty or after the original owners had sold it. It's no big deal, it's a $40 part and any tech can do it for a minimum shop charge,
It's a $210 part now and it's sold out.Guitarbilly wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 12:17 amMarshall issued a revised board in late 2001 and covered the repair for the original owners under warranty. No, no, that's the entire main board. There are no issues with the main board. You wouldn't need one unless you had a fire or flood or something like that.bonano wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 2:11 amIt's a $210 part now and it's sold out.Guitarbilly wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 12:17 amMarshall issued a revised board in late 2001 and covered the repair for the original owners under warranty. Ahh, just the bias board. Eek, I'd still be reluctant to get a JCM2000 for this. They're not cheap either on the used market.Guitarbilly wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 5:20 amNo, no, that's the entire main board. There are no issues with the main board.
