Its funny, as much as George has had some "misses" in the not too distant past, I appreciate his desire to keep reaching out for something instead of just playing the same shit for 40 years. Plus, his live sound the last 8 years or so has been fantastic, ever since laying off the phaser

Yeah he's always changing his rig. Really cool. I agree his tone has been great lately.

Not even just gear, he could have just done a rinse and repeat of the first couple Lynch Mob records and likely kept printing a steady income. But he went in some weird directions just for the art. I can dig that idea even if the tunes didn’t always work for me. Haha

I watched a tune or two from that show when it randomly popped up in my Youtube feed a day or so ago. My first thought was "does that say Fender?" Not really the Fender aesthetic though.

I remember a Tone Talk vid that Lynch and Pilson did, and Lynch was essentially begging Friedman for a sig amp. I'm starting a rumor that this is it.

That's definitely the right brand!!! I doubt Lynch is using a 22w though. Probably a custom 100 version.
