Sounds amazingly good! I had one of the first death metal pedals and it was awesome. It beoke on me after 10 years, got another and for some reason wasn't as good as the original.
They had a Thrash metal pedal that was pink way back in the day that was pretty brutal too. This things pre is supposed to be the Grind pedal they made way back when. It ain't the worst solid state distortion I've had.

this sounds awesome. i almost bought the grunge combo on a recent drunken night, i might have to get drunk again lol

When I see a DOD amp I want to buy it just cuz I like DOD/Digitech. I have the Grind FX101 pedal. It's pretty craptastic. I even added the Integrated Tube FX100 (same PCB) components, again MEH.
The amp clip isn't terrible. What guitar and pickup?

I've never tried the Grunge. Though Fluff had a trip down memory lane recording with it at some point and I didn't hate it.

Isn't terrible is about right.
It's a JS32T King V with GFS Redactive Golds. Kind of a low-budget take on the EMG thing, though not exactly the same.
