It's 100% user error. I can post videos doing 1hr+ long shows playing solos etc with any of my LPs and you won't see me reaching for the tuning pegs once. Gibsons are actually really stable if setup correctly and with the strings properly stretched.

In my experience, if you can't set up any hardtail to maintain tuning and the tuners themselves aren't shit, which Gibsons never have? It's a you problem.

Which isn't a huge shock in this particular individual's case.

I like that this is bigger than the king V. All king Vs are a little on the smaller size.

Someone needs to make a plus size V guitar and fuck that fricker fucker... its sad how many young'ins worship the ground he walks on... blindly hating Gibsons and any other expensive gear just because he says so...

I'm with you on the giant ape thing. The only V I have that looks even close to right hanging on me is the 8 string, but I'd love to rock an oversized if I found one. Granted, I'd probably run the points into every wall around me, but that's a danger with any pointy.

The ESP dave mustaine and their other symmetrical Vs, like the Hex, are all significantly larger than other Vs.

Good to know. I had been eyeing up one of those Nergal Hexs recently and really liked the look of it, even if it is just another black pointy. May have to bump up its' priority of the future purchase list.

Yeah, I think the Hex is pretty cool, too, but the prices are comically high haha. Otherwise I would have already bought one. But yeah, they are much bigger Vs than Gibson, and especially Jackson.

My Hapas V is King V size, and it feels a little small, but the weight and my back make up for it lol

That Hapas had me eyeballing their site pretty hard. Not saying that's bumped any of my other priority axes, yet, but it definitely got added to the someday dream list.

It's a killer guitar.
