I used to miss the Shiva and Mrak III but the SLO makes them irrelevant for my needs.
I miss my old sonic blue strat that was stolen a couple decades ago but I always wonder if I'd even like it these days. Would be kind of a bummer to get it back and find out it was a turd lmao

'93 1959SLP
2266 Vintage Modern
'81 Ibanez DT400CS. I played this guitar for 3 decades until the frets were so worn it was unplayable. I should have had the frets replaced and kept it but instead I sold it.
Jesus man
I'd miss that one too. Goddamn

FJA modded exactly 1 Single Rec for a buddy of mine; I offed it when I needed the $ and kept track of it for a few years. It bounced around SSO for awhile but then I lost track of it.
Aside from my Herbert it was the best sounding amp I’ve ever had and I wish I could find it and buy it back.

I swear to god I had that same air conditioner, including the busted off/falling on one side faceplate, hanging in my apartment back in that same time period. FWIW, I don't miss that piece of shit.

Ha! I got that air conditioner from the company I was working for at the time. They decided to upgrade their A/C and the boss asked me if I wanted to take one home.
It was a General Electric from the late 1970's/early 80's and, while it looked ratty, it worked really well.
After two summers, my landlord's electric bill was going through the roof and he asked me to buy a more energy efficient unit..
The 2 bedroom/living room/kitchen apartment was only $800/month... since I didn't want to get kicked out, I bought a new one.

Mine was "Provided" by the apartment manager, who probably bought the thing new when he bought the building twenty-five years or so prior, and never bothered to upgrade it. It worked OK during the summer, but they refused to remove it, and I didn't trust myself to not drop it the three stories to the street if I tried to pull it, so winter was nice and frosty in that single room apartment. Ah, memories. What a great time that was.

My only gear regret is selling my black red dot Sunface. If I had waited a couple of years I could have probably gotten $2k for it.
