Playing in a cover band is good for basically
2 things.. The money. And the crowds are better. But it sucks cause I really don’t care what “original” is. If I can make it my own, I want to. And if you are a Slayer fan, maybe one of their most boring, but popular songs is “Mandatory Suicide. It’s actually much more fun than I would have ever thought. But the ending, I started jamming out some dissonance and for a change they all liked it. So it became part of the set. It’s a small victory but I’ll take it. I honestly think it makes the song better .I’m the guy who looks stoned. But I ain’t stoned. I just took everything else BUT weed hahah
This was in Madison Wisconsin. The same show my amp and tubes were melting down.

A week ago, I guess. My amp went down at the show, so certainly would have been incredibly short notice! Lol. But I ended up working out a fix to finish the night.
