I don't know if it was Slowpost. It was definitely Bullshitpost though.

But anyway, I got it. Put it on my board right away. I was surprised that I was able to remember how to program it, because it's not very intuitive. But I programmed 3 presets, one that's always on for rhythm, a lead preset and a modulated preset.
Sounds incredible!! Instant 80s tone. I have practice in half an hour so I'll be able to test it out with the band.
I think I'll hook a MIDI footswitch to it so I can access more presets. This thing is really like a full fledged rack.

Nice. I can't wait to get mine. I enjoy the SDE-3000 algorithms on my GT-1000 Core and DD-500.

On a side note, I am a tad annoyed that I can't set the loop structure (order) in the ES-8 globally and have to do so patch by patch. The way I have my ES-8 patches set up, I get to rearrange the order for 4 banks of 8 patches.

I keep going back and forth.

I need it! Then I read reviews saying the DD-500 will do the same sound with more features if needed.

I want it! I only use the SDE algorithm in the DD-500 anyway, and the SDE-3000D looks easier to get that sound. Selling the DD-500 would pay for it too.

Anyone else see where this is going? I will buy it, and keep the DD-500. I just know it.

Practice went really well. At first my presets were a little too wet but I was able to quickly fix it in between songs. Very excited to use this pedal on Friday's gig.

Billy, you are running it mono, correct? I have been thinking about this or the 2290P, but apprehensive because I'm not running stereo and wondering if I would just be kind of "going the speed limit in a Ferrari"
Gear: A little of this, a little of that

Yeah I'm running it in mono. It's not an issue. The only thing stereo would add is a bit of separation between the 2 delays but they sound fine into a single cab.

Are the delay lines series or parallel?

You can set them up in 3 ways Series, parallel summed to both jacks or parallel with a stereo spread.

Awesome. I'll have to try them series and summed parallel. Thanks!

Just thought of a quick question. I use the DD-500 to boost the level up a touch when turned on for a lead volume bump. Does the SDE-3000D have the ability to do that as well? I would think that it would, but I don't have time to read through the manual today. Figured Billy would already know!
