Re: Boss SDE-3000D for $250 at Sweetwater
I have a feeling that I am going to end up with one of these. I have two pricey pedals that could sell to offset the cost. Trying to stick to my one in one out rule for the rest of the year! Have not been doing a very good job with that though. Not at all.
Could move the DD-500 since I only use the SDE algo anyway, and one of those Wampler Germanium Tumnus Deluxe things that I did not need at all, but fell into the hype on launch day.

I should buy this and sell my Strymon El Cap to help offset cost.

Looks like they're not going to deliver it today it's in town but it's no longer in Out For Delivery status. Fucking FedEx man

It's out for delivery... again. Hope they actually deliver it this time.
And yeah I had a few Strymon pedals and I liked them alright but I didn't keep any of them.

Still claiming it will be delivered today. Since it isn't in my city and out for delivery, I can guarantee it won't get here today. If it wasn't FedEx SlowPost, it would be getting here today as I live about 90 minutes or so from Sweetwater.

FedEx is awful. Yesterday they had my pedal in their truck and instead of delivering it, they took it back to their warehouse. I don't get it. The pedal has been in town since Saturday

This has happened to me a lot with fedex latelyGuitarbilly wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 3:35 pm FedEx is awful. Yesterday they had my pedal in their truck and instead of delivering it, they took it back to their warehouse. I don't get it. The pedal has been in town since Saturday
when I got my creamback a little while back the proof of delivery photo from fedex was literally the box not even inside my apartment complex, just out on the curb in the parking lot
Glad I was home that day

Jesus, what horrible service that is. Fucking Amazon does better than that. Just wait until Amazon's delivery trial is over and they start accepting outside business. FedEx will go first, and UPS will have to adjust to keep up (their tracking and "UPS My Way" or whatever it is called suck ass, but I digress).spawnofthesith wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 3:44 pmThis has happened to me a lot with fedex latelyGuitarbilly wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 3:35 pm FedEx is awful. The only shipping company I care for is USPS. As far as functionality, they are the best, which is amazing for a government entity. The goverment can't run shit right. (Their financial side is another matter entirely, one which is apparently poorly managed, but again, I digress.)
Not a fan. Was yours shipped FedEx SlowPost as well? I am apparently going to have to contact my sales representative at Sweetwater any time I want a small item shipped, because they'll use this godawful SlowPost garbage.Guitarbilly wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 3:35 pm FedEx is awful. I'm likely just being a major pain in the ass and it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but I live like 90 minutes from Sweetwater, give or take. It shouldn't take two days for two shipping companies to pass shit around so some bean counters can save a few cents.
