And as far as a replacement for the DR, for my money the Weber 12F150 is one of the best options. 50 watt version, light dope. Sounds great clean, real good with dirt, efficient and loud.

Thanks man!

Checking this out now, what’s giving me pause is that it’s mentioning the Jensen c12n by name…. Does it have any similarity to that speaker? Because damn I hated that Jensen
Hah good question. I haven't played a c12n in a long time so I don't know if I can say offhand. They are different in specs though, the Weber has a decently bigger magnet. What didn't you like about the Jensen?

Man I don’t know where to begin haha. Everything about it just sounded abrasive, honky and harsh to me. Even just clean. When pushing the DR to breakup or when using a dirt pedal then it just got a million times worse in all those categories. The creamback was a monumental night and day difference when I switched

Damn. The Weber is definitely not harsh or honky in my experience and I also primarily push it with pedals. Worth a look although you could always go with another creamback if that’s what you dug.

Definitely keeping it under consideration. tough call between going with something proven or exploring the unknown since I have the opportunity

Not in a huge rush at the moment though, wrapped up my annual month of heavy usage with the DR a couple weeks ago haha

You know as much as I’d been enjoying the Silverbirds there’s still something in the midrange for dirt I don’t like. I think I’m eventually going to get Creamback 10s for mine hahaha. Or ET10s. Both are top contenders right now.
More guitars than anyone could need

Metropoulos Metroplex Mk I
Egnater Seminar Amp 50
Orange Rockerverb 50 Mk III
Peavey 5150
Fender 1976 Vibrolux Reverb

Marshall 1960A G12M25 Greenbacks
Metropoulos Slant 2x12 G12H75 Creambacks.

I'm really just blown away by the creamback, can't believe I waited so long to try one, the hype is real. Just does everything really well. Sounded amazing in the DR for that sort of thing then can just turn around and be total destroyer of worlds in a closed back cab for high gain stuff (obviously the redback is part of that too haha but I was listening to each speaker and they both sound incredible and the blend is just top notch)

Let me live vicariously through you and do the ET10’s.
