another thread got me playing my telecaster with emg 57s in it, for some reason i dont play this guitar as much as a should but im really starting to dig it. this is the tele, my laney GH100s, ibanez thermion 4x12 with v30s and a 57. two of the tracks are boosted with my chiron klone

i tried the Vig technique of making the amp hiss, putting on headphones and moving the mic till the hiss was the loudest, it was real close to the center of the speaker which i was doing anyway but a little bit farther back than i usually do, maybe an inch or so, might try this technique more-
