Incoming NPD's

Post by Beef »

Got some sweet stuff coming in this week. In my never-ending cycle through fuzz and fuzzy/higher gain pedals I decided why not and pulled the trigger somewhat impulsively on a Way Huge Geisha Drive. Should be fun, never played an SD-9-type circuit but have been curious for a while to try one and of course this is Jeorge Tripps version of the circuit.

Then yesterday I unexpectedly found a mint condition Vick Audio V-2 for a killer deal and couldn't resist. It's supposed to be a clone of the Cornish G-2 and with the Gilmour connection and all I've always wanted to fuck with one of those too. I've also always heard great things about Vick Audio, big bummer though the dude closed shop a number of years ago and some of his stuff doesn't always pop up too frequently but lucky me.

Unfortunately I may not get to try them out until this weekend if things align, longer than that if I'm they don't but still stoked on these.

I haven't tried the Geisha Drive, but I love all versions of the Green Rhino. I currently have the Smalls version on my main board and it's my favorite overdrive pedal. Dethroned the SD-1 after 30 years!! I definitely want to try out more Way Huge pedals. Let us know how you like it!

Interesting about the V-2. I actually never played a real Cornish G-2 or even seen one in person, but all the clips I've heard of it are amazing.

Thanks y’all.

Billy, I had a Pork Loin back in the day, it was cool. A little dark and bassy with my setup at the time so I offed it but it was a cool pedal and I know plenty of folks who swear by the Swollen Pickle and Blue Hippo. I was super close to pulling the trigger on a Supa Puss a few months ago too.

Hah Ajax that was the original run (or one of the previous runs) that was that limited. They’ve done other limited batches of them. I snagged one of the current run that are supposedly somewhat limited but Sweetwater seems to still have them listed as in stock.
