cheap actives
cheap actives
A friend is looking for cheap actives for a budget baritone. What's our there for cheap that isn't shitty? The days of cheap used emg sets is seemingly over, otherwise I'd have suggested that.

Guitarfetish makes a decent set but I'm not sure if they ship to Europe. Probably ŷes.
Dragonfire pickups has an okay set too.

Thanks. I'll take a look at those. I've ordered from GFS before like 15 years ago
Irongear (budget UK pickups) used to do an active set but they've stopped

I think you are across the pond, so not sure what they’d charge for shipping. But EMG has an eBay site, or maybe it was Reverb. Or both! Where they sell b-stock and blemish pickups. I’ve bought a few and couldn’t tell any blemishes on any. One was kinda crazy noisy and they took the return. No questions. Anyway, they usually have em listed for $60-70. No wiring/pots. But essentially half off new price
Re: cheap actives
Ah nice, I'll check that out.

I’m sure you could find it. But I wanted to find it again anyway!
