What do I need to know about this amp? I understand the basics (single channel, etc) but not much more just got one in a trade. Any known issues? Any common mods I should check for?

I don't know if any mods for it but its a pretty good amp stock. The trick is to balance out the 2 gain knobs. One is the preamp gain and the other is the clipping diodes. So depends on how you dial it in you can get anything from 70s to 90s rock tones. For metal it would probably need a boost. But it's a cool amp. Get it if you have a line on one for a good price.

With the trade and cash on thier end I paid $650 for it. Looking forward to firing it up.
