It's been a shitty week to say the least, so tonight I've slammed some beers, and then stuck Gatecreeper's emptiness into stemroller so I could do a cover in drop G with my Ibby RGIB6 Hot fucking damn I love that guitar.
Anyway, get some deathdoom in your fucking ears
And yes, I know its 11 minutes long. It's not as if you're doing anything if you're on here
EDIT: Added The King HM-2 VST to a two extra tracks for added nasty

Thanks man. I might try layering it with an hm-2 plugin today
The original guitar stem is mixed in there at like -10dB for that flavour, so I'll be able to drop that out. Also I couldn't be bothered to track the clean parts

I think it's awesome lol... the Swedish HM2 bands were a big part of my childhood .. I don't listen to them much these days but that tone is a classic in my book

The HM-2 thing has had a bit of a renaissance over the last 5-10 years. At first it was bands just trying to sound as horrible as possible, which I'm all for , but in recent times folks have gotten it to something a little easier on the ear. This Black Breath album absolutely slaps!Guitarbilly wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 5:31 pm I think it's awesome lol... the Swedish HM2 bands were a big part of my childhood .. Thanks dude.
I used the Neural DSP Gojira sims for this. I have two meat tracks panned 60L and 60R, then two more tracks hard panned with The King (https://www.kvraudio.com/product/the-ki ... -sound-lab) HM-2 VST a few dB lower to add sizzle. It's lots of fun quad tracking an 11 minute song
