About fucking time. I wanted to get two Star shaped guitars, but couldn't find anything I liked. The Danelectro headstock was more "accurate," but is goddamned ugly.

I do like it but being I’ve sorta done my homework on these. This is a tweaked version of a “True” Charvel star. And what immediately I see which is kinda a deal breaker for me is the area right above the pickup and also the bridge. The original Star has more real estate there and I find this necessary for where my wrist and arm rest. The original feels pretty good to me. These other designs where they shrink the shape a bit has my wrist basically hanging off the guitar. And it just doesn’t have a good anchor and it feel like I lack precision. Feels like it’s just hanging in “air.” Especially when standing. As that angle also puts the wrist more up and down… Looks cool but personally, I would have to play this and see if that area bugs me like most of the other tweaked stars do

^^^ this is true. This smaller body can be an issue. I have the Jackson Star here and I think it's a similar shape, although the TOM position seems different. I got used to it after a while but it took me a while to adapt.
I'm going to buy this one new so I have a return period if I can't gel with it.
