Yeah the cab will make the difference. Laney amps are particularly picky with speakers.

One of the reasons I don't have a Laney right now is all my main cabs have v30s and Laneys don't really work for me with v30s

I have a GB and a CB here but they're not installed anywhere at the moment. The v30s work for what I'm doing with the band.

H30 anniversaries in the evh cab are rad, I don't have any experience with the heritages though

Yeah I'm not a fan of any version of the H30s. Not that they're bad but it's just not my tone.

I love the 20w EVH speakers.
