no, i have a x7 and a sansamp, the sansamp i usually run cleaner and then use the x7 for the more distorted stuff, im not sure how the other darkglass pedals are but the X you can dial in distortion just in the high end and compress just the low end, theres a couple filters and then the EQ which you can get tons of sounds with. kind of a pain in the ass to dial in but theres not much it cant do
