Picked up a 60's Watkins amp while passinf through London

Found it at Hank's Guitar Shop on Denmark St.

I paid to have it shipped, $150, not too bad. And it was on my doorstep at home within 48 hours

It's a Clubman, with just volume and tone. When it's i it's happy spot 4-7 it sounds great. Turn it up too much and it sounds not so great. It does take drives well. It has a nice warm clean tone and a pretty aggressive rock tone. My little Watkins collection is growing

And ain’t it funny about tube amps. One day a setting sounds bad and the next day it sounds great. There’s never any tellin’!

Almost sounds like there's a fuzz pedal in there.

Such a cool find... and it's in decent shape for a 60 year old amp!!!

Have you tried it with a Tube Screamer or a Treble Boost?
