I'm very much a principled man and will consider spending more for a brand new one. I hate dealing with GC, and have had issues multiple times through the years.
look, I know capitalism is frowned upon in the Mother Land, I understand that.
But still, take the $800 discount and get a new footswitch

I want them to no longer have my Rubles

But that said, they advertised it with a footswitch and should provide its replacement or value without question.
exactly this.

yes.

No, it's a 2 button switch and unfortunately I bought it out of Cleveland, OH. I didn't see any local in the $3200 range. :o
ninjaraf wrote: Tue Apr 02, 2024 9:45 pm haha fucking GC man. Hilarious that one of their own fucking corporate employees tells you to go buy one at SW. This is like if you looked up GC in the dictionary, you'd read this lol.

Anyway, yeah, they suck, but I'd keep the $800 lol
Yeah, ultimately that's what I thought was fucking weird. Instead of handling the issue the phone rep told me to just return it and buy elsewhere. I was like what the actual fuck dude. Then he sent me an email telling me to give him a call for any future gear needs because he has like 30 years experience

Like yeah bro, so I can get that same shit tier customer service? Go fuck yourself

Anyway, I reached resolution with the store. They're discounting the amp by $100 and I'm just buying a new switch from Soldano.

Problem solved.

Perfect resolution. GC gets less money and you get a new footswitch.
I like 5150s. The rest of you bullshit amps can get fucked.

I'm with the rest. Keep the amp win or lose, try to get $100 back but if they refuse just buy another footswitch.

Edit: Just saw the resolution, good deal. Shit salesman.

If it makes you feel any better. Sweetwater offered me 10% refund for my broken ass cab.

I am. Decided to roll the Dice too, I really want the matching cab.

I guess if the next one breaks I'll just keep returning them.
