I've been looking endlessly and I can't decide. Have it narrowed down to a small handful.
Schecter Mach 7 Banshee
Schecter C7 Sls elite
Solar AB1
Jackson Pro Plus DK modern
The only one I've actually played was the Banshee. I was very unimpressed but I think the setup just sucked. Going to try a different one tomorrow.
Otherwise on paper schecter is my jam. I had a KM7 and a Reaper and loved the neck on both.
Used to love Jackson in the 90s but I've never tried a Jackson 7 and I have no idea how they are these days.
Never touched a solar in my life but I saw one that looks amazing.

Re: Help with 7 string decision
I would definitely go back to the KM7. Probably the best guitar Schecter has ever made.
Re: Help with 7 string decision
Don't they make them with different kinds of pickups? Also hardtail and trem versions? I know that the ones I have played did not Fishmans.
Re: Help with 7 string decision
Yeah, I see that some come with Lundgrens now.

TBH if I went that route I might as well get the artist again and swap pickups. Wouldn't mind trying the legacy but wouldn't get one blind unless it was for a steal.Yarbicus wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 4:39 pmThe KM7 Legacy also has Lundgrens.
Maybe a MK-ii
