Dude, awesome! I agree about NEVER canceling a show. I missed two of my uncles' funerals because I couldn't cancel.

Local band here showed up like 3 hours late because the singer's sister was having a baby.

Nobody ever hired them again.

Right!! You cancel a gig for anything, you get backlisted.
Cancel because someone is having babies? Pftt!!!! Any 2 cousins can make one of those in Indiana!! Gig definitely more important!!!

Here's a video. It looks weird not having a drummer behind us but sound wise it's really good.

And my tone is so dialed in with the DSL, I feel silly buying more amps

Get a blow up doll and keep it in the emergency gig kit.

It's funny because we actually talked about doing exactly that

We want one those giant teddy bears though. But we'll put a wig and a bra on it, give it a pack of Marlboro reds, etc
Basically make a trailer trash ho bear

Who makes the cab mic holder you're using there? Does it clamp on?

I want to buy some of those and get rid of the floor stands, but I never see them locally.

Audix Cabgrabber XL

I take mine to every show and I have markings on top of the cab so it's always in the same exact place. The soundguys love it.

I hate floor stands,
