Damn! Looks great. But E-II is fucking stupid for an almost $3k guitar.
I can't really say shit, though, because I will probably buy this eventually lol.

It's about $1700 USD, but yeah, I wish they would ditch the whole stupid E-II thing. It's been like 10 years now though so I think it's here to stay.

That's actually not bad. A lot of their E-II models are nearing $3k these days.madrigal77 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:16 pm It's about $1700 USD, but yeah, I wish they would ditch the whole stupid E-II thing. It's been like 10 years now though so I think it's here to stay.

$3k they should just call them all ESP's i never understood why they did the 2, then 3 tier naming. back in the day they were all esp's.

Re: WANT!! (ESP content)
Yeah if it were for sale here, I'm sure it would be. But it's in Japan and the Japanese Yen is pretty weak right now, so the exchange rate is awesome lol. I usually go with 4 empty suitcases and come back with them full. I ended up spending like $1600 on whiskeys last time I went in January .ninjaraf wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:36 pmThat's actually not bad. Re: WANT!! (ESP content)
Damn. Maybe I just need to take a trip there to buy some guitars, then haha. Craziness.
I agree on the 3 tier thing. I don't mind the LTD. You gotta have a budget range...but those guitars are not priced in what I would call a budget range anymore, either. But yeah...call them all ESPs. ESP USA used to be around $3k, but now are getting up to $5k range. Their pricing is off the fucking rails. I got a quote for a custom shop V from my SW guy a couple years ago. $8800 and a 2 year wait. Complete insanity. I'm sure they're even more now.

Re: WANT!! (ESP content)
You totally should. Not just for guitars though. Japan is awesome. The food is out of control good and pretty cheap. And anything you're into, not just guitars, they take up to level 11.ninjaraf wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:52 pm Damn. Maybe I just need to take a trip there to buy some guitars, then haha. Craziness.

I agree about the pricing especially LTD. They're great guitars and all but some of them are approaching $2k . I spent an embarrassing amount on mine as I had to have it drop shipped up to Canada from the US, but I had to have that blue
