I had this amp for a while in 2022 but sold it because... well that's what I do
But I really missed it and decided to get another. I think this is my favorite Friedman amp. It's less polished and more percussive than the BE etc. And it has a great clean channel, awesome loop, DI out and it's pretty small and easy to carry for a 50w head.
So I got it today and it went straight to the stage:
It sounded amazing, I was really happy with my tone tonight
I love my Runt...... its down right now though, needs to get all the Filter Caps changed according to Dave so the parts are on order for my tech to deal with.
I can't remember what my signature was..... I'm sure it was something interesting.....

Nice! The Runt is the Friedman I'm most interested in, for exactly the reason you outline. A little less polished than the others.
It sounds like maybe the Jose is also in that directon, but if the Jose is gonna cost me almost 100% more than a similar Morris, I'll support my local builder.

Yeah mostly 2022, I used it for the whole year and sold it in March '23.

The Morris is awesome, I see no reason to switch from that amp. But yeah I'm interested in the Jose too, although the price is a bit of a deterrent at this moment. I'm also preferring 50w amps for what I'm currently doing with the band.
