Sounds delicious! I don't know how you do it though, tequila burns me but not the wife. Do you notice if tequila hits different for you vs other spirits?ElDirtySanchez wrote: ↑Tue May 27, 2025 3:32 pm I've been drinking straight tequila lately, recently picked up a bottle of Lalo blanco. Made with only 3 ingredients - well water, blue agave and yeast, it's got a little bit of heat to it to let you know you're sipping tequila but other than that, it's pretty smooth.
I typically go for reposado or anejo tequilas but was wanting to get another blanco since I was tired of my other tequilas and I had just finished off a bottle of blanco cabo.
Should also be good mixed, I'll have to grab some grapefruit juice as that's become my go to for mixing with tequila.

Had to look up "Malört"....
"Malört is a bitter, wormwood-based liqueur, originating from Sweden and popularized in Chicago. It's known for its intensely bitter flavor, often described as medicinal or like "pencil shavings and old battery rust". Despite its strong taste, it has gained a cult following, particularly in Chicago, where it's considered a rite of passage or a "drink of Chicago".
Sounds delish!!!
