Preface: my mom died of cancer 7 years ago, and my dad got remarried.

So, i found my mom’s writings in the trash, and it kind of shattered me, especially when i read everything.

I put it into a song.

Btw, I finally got something legit monitors. Yamaha ns-10m pros with a crown d75. These are the shit. Nothing hides. I’m blown away by how much better the mix comes out when the speakers aren’t hiding things.

I kind of rushed at the end, and just remixed a tad. There was some unnecessary feedback I pulled out. Turned the cymbal down a bit to mask my shitty playing.

Added some reverb to the vocals when it escalates.
