I'm in!!! Slayer live is always awesome.

Edit: I should have read the article first. It's just 2 shows and not around here. Bummer.
Maybe they'll decide to play more though.

The Louisville show is a 6 hour drive for me. Chicago is 9 hours but my Dad lives in Joliet, so I could visit him. I'm considering it.

I saw slayer 3 times on their farewell tour in Tampa, Orlando, and St Augustine. They are awesome life, even though I don’t like slayer that much haha.
I like 5150s. The rest of you bullshit amps can get fucked.

Slayer is a band I just don’t get. They have a few songs that I think are decent but a lot that do nothing for me. In all fairness, I think Anthrax is the best of the big 4.

I 100% agree with Facefirst "They have a few songs that I think are decent but a lot that do nothing for me. In all fairness, I think Anthrax is the best of the big 4."

I saw Slayer on the 'Reign in Blood' tour early '87. Venue was a pretty small club in Denver, capacity around 750. I want to say Overkill opened. Sooooo brain deadeningly loud. I was never the same after that.

I figure that nothing was gonna top that so I have never tried to see them since.

I don't know if it was legit or not, but I saw something from Kerry King that this was news to him?
Gear: A little of this, a little of that
